Namaste!
My name is Vani, as a child of Hindu Brahmin (scholars) family I was introduced to Yoga at a very early age, however, my true Yoga journey started in 2003 when I was 18. I lost my parents that year and my tender mind went too restless to know the deeper meaning of life and its different aspects. This led me to take shelter of Yoga to satisfy my soul and look forward in life. After experiencing the benefits of Yoga, I decided to dedicate myself completely to it and share the same benefits with others.
I started my formal training to become a Yoga teacher in 2005. I completed my post graduated in Masters of Sciences in Yoga Therapy from India, I have also done a Bachelor of Sciences in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics. To fulfill my quest for Yoga, I continued my journey in the company of many mystics and Gurus of Himalayas (initiated in Himalayan Yoga Tradition). I especially like sharing a philosophy of Yoga and Meditation.
I am inspired by the life-changing results of the Yoga practices and my vision is to spread it in its true meaning so that people can achieve their complete well-being (physically, mentally and spiritually). Apart from Yoga, I love Indian classical dancing, food, and traveling.
Love & Peace ! Hari Aum Tat Sat!

RYT 200hr,Diploma of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture
Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and Yin Yoga
My name is Ryu, and I’m from Malaysia. I was a professional Latin dancer for several years and took part in many international Latin dance championships. In 2005, I injured a hamstring and couldn’t straighten my leg, or walk properly. Just when I thought my world was crumbling, someone advised me to try yoga. I fell in love with yoga straight away. There was no turning back, and I practiced six hours a day. Three months later, my hamstring recovered and the pain was gone.
After healing my hamstring, my yoga instructor encouraged me to enroll in the 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. Ten years have passed since I obtained my qualification as a yoga teacher. I have since taught in Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. During this time, I’ve also completed a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Acupuncture.
Yoga has improved my strength, flexibility, and muscle tone; and enabled me to stay calm and focused. I enjoy teaching Hatha, vinyasa flow, ashtanga, gentle flow, yin yoga, and Flexi yoga. However, my favorite is Ashtanga, because it allows me to challenge myself. I also love practicing meditation, as it keeps my mind clear and stress-free.
200hrs Vinyasa Teacher Training,Sivananda Certified Yoga Teacher, Divine Healing Practitioner
I am Jak Tazzar and my yoga journey started way back in 1993 when I entered an ashram in Kerala, South India. I had absolutely no knowledge of yoga practice, meditation or chanting but I decided to stay and give it a two week try, fast forward a year later when I left the ashram a fully qualified Sivananda Yoga Teacher who had started the inner work of finding her authentic empowered self.
My path has guided me to train in different modalities including Reiki Master, Soul Contract Reader, Chakradance, Divine Healing, SCHH, and just recently in April 2023 completing the Teach Yoga Adelaide 200hr Yoga Teaching Program.
In 2017 I was gifted a Shakti Mat and my love affair with the spikes started then.
The Shakti Mat is an acupressure mat designed to relax the body and calm the mind, it stimulates blood circulation and provides acupressure simultaneously.
Jaks classes are innovative, upbeat, relaxing, dynamic, calming and challenging all rolled into one with some funky beats to inspire and motivate you.
Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, Chair Yoga, Meditation, Qigong and Yin Myofascial release (MFR) and Acupressure Trigger Point
The Yoga journey began in the late 1980’s and these paths have now become a way of life and she continues to learn & practice all aspects of yoga including pranayama, asana,
philosophy, kirtan & meditation which guide her teaching. The practice of yoga has taught Sharmaine how to approach life with open eyes and a greater awareness of connection to our bodies and minds–a discovery she hopes to pass onto her students. Sharmaine guides students step by step through creative sequences by teaching not only safe shapes in Yoga but also how to pay attention to what is going
on in the body and mind in each moment. Sharmaine teaches her students how to bring greater awareness to everything they do, on and off the mat.
Sharmaine is excited to bring her warm energy, passion & love for all things calm
and nurturing to the community. As a teacher Sharmaine is a real advocate for yoga & meditation and the benefits of body positive movement for everyBODY. A genuinely caring, calm and deeply nurturing teacher, you will leave connected to self, mind & and; body!

Margaretha first discovered yoga as a young child with the influence being her mother and father along with her sisters. My mother was a crowning achievement of a Hatha yoga teacher from age 27 – 75 years born and trained in Tilburg Holland. My love of yoga and understanding of how important being inclusive of different peoples needs, cultures and religions began a long time ago.The more I learnt and continue to learn about the world in which we live I realize that what Yoga is all about, connecting internal and external being and being at peace with one.To embrace inclusive environments no matter where I would be in the world brings a sense of belonging to a community. I initially completed a 200Hr RYT with Yoga Theory, 60Hr RYT with Bodshere, 30Hr RYT Bodshere, 300 Hr RYT with Bodshere and are now a 500 Hr YA RYT. Currently studying for my Animal Flow Test out to become a certified teacher of Animal Flow in SA.I have a passion for students to understand that age has absolutely nothing to do with inability to move but our mind connecting to our body that resists the challenge to continue to improve our wellbeing .

Justin first experimented with yoga around 10 years ago but it wasn’t until 2018 and a chance encounter in Bali that his journey with yoga really began. For him practicing yoga is the best technique there is to maintain peace of mind.
His classes are a multifaceted journey of movement, breathwork and meditation, and encourage students to cultivate greater intimacy with themselves. Justin hopes to share some of the transformative qualities of yoga, with classes that are calming and centring, so that you get off the mat feeling some of the benefits straight away.
He believes yoga can be suitable for anyone – whether we work in an office and can find greater balance through a more invigorating practice or are looking to unwind and relax to counter an already physically active lifestyle. He also sees yoga as a great sanctuary away from the distractions and over stimulation often present in everyday life.
Justin completed his 200 hour teacher training in Dharamshala, India, after learning from a number of influential teachers in Ubud, Bali. He aims to maintain a beginner’s mindset, for greater curiosity, enthusiasm and openness.
