We are excited to bring this opportunity for you to explore a whole new approach to classical Hatha Yoga in Sivananda lineage. Sivananda Yoga was introduced by Swami Vishnudevananda dedicated to his master Swami Sivananda.
The Sivananda Yoga basic class is an adapted version consists of warm ups (a few rounds of sun salutations), inversions, forward bends, backward bends, spinal twists, balancing and lateral stretches, along with proper breathing (pranayama) and relaxation (savasana) for a wholesome body, mind and spirit experience.
This practice is suitable for those who would also like to expand their understanding of traditional yoga. The sequence focuses on Asanas (postures) to improve and maintain spine health (strength and flexibility), working on the internal machinery of the body, glands, organs as well as the muscles; Pranayama (breathwork) to increase and nourish vital energy within the brain and body and finally, Savasana (relaxation) for physical, mental and spiritual healing.
So come join us for a well-rounded yoga session to Breathe, Stretch, Strengthen, Relax and Heal. You will leave feeling Refreshed and Rejuvenated.

Namaste! I’m a mom of two boys and a certified Sivananda Yoga Instructor. I’ve been practicing Yoga & Meditation as a way of life since a little girl. My father was my first teacher and he believed that the practice of Yoga was an ideal way to lead a balanced life. He encouraged and guided me to become a competitive swimmer, trained in martial arts, a
professional classical Indian dancer and a qualified lawyer. My life took a big turn when I came to Adelaide with my 2 young boys. The practice of yoga and meditation is what kept me going. I thus decided that I wanted to share the immense
benefits that yoga can bring to a person and to do this, I had to be qualified to share. This lead me to pursue an intensive Teacher’s Training course in India at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, Kerala. I find great joy in empowering people with the knowledge of Yoga and using it for themselves as a tool to navigate life, just as it did for me. I share Yoga and
Meditation in the McLaren Vale region, conduct workshops and mini retreats throughout the year.
